Savings Accounts
A little saved now can mean less stress later.
A car repair. The holidays. A trip you want to enjoy without bringing home a big credit-card balance.
Whatever you’re preparing for, you don’t have to save it all at once. Start with what you can, keep adding when possible and build from there.
What are you saving for?
You may want one place for unexpected expenses and another for something you’re looking forward to. Keeping that money secure can make it easier to see your progress and avoid spending it on something else.
Alcon Employees FCU offers several ways to save:
Everyday savings
Holiday savings
Vacation savings
Higher-earning savings for larger balances
Tell us what you’re working toward. We’ll explain the choices and help you find the account that fits.

Your Savings Account establishes your membership and gives you a place to begin building a financial cushion.
It includes:

Dividends paid on your savings
An ATM Card

Dividends are money the credit union adds to your account based on your balance and the current rate.
A good fit if: You want an everyday savings account and access to everything your Alcon Employees FCU membership offers.
Holiday Savings Account
Give the holidays their own place in your budget.
Holiday expenses can sneak up on you. Setting money aside throughout the year can help you pay for gifts, travel, meals and traditions without putting everything on a high-interest credit card.

Enjoy the trip without worrying about the bill afterward.
Saving before you travel can help cover transportation, lodging, food and the moments you don’t want to miss.
It includes:
No minimum balance

A separate place to see your vacation savings grow
A good fit if: You want to set money aside for a trip without mixing it with everyday spending.

A higher dividend rate
We’ll show you the current rate, explain how your earnings are calculated and help you compare this account with your other savings options.
