Who We Are

We see things differently.

Your financial life is more than a credit score, account balance or loan application.

It’s the car you need to get to work. The bill you didn’t expect. The payment taking too much from every paycheck. The future you’re trying to build.

At Alcon Employees Federal Credit Union, we take the time to understand the whole picture and help you see what may be possible.

We start with the person. Not the product.

Most people don’t wake up wanting a loan or another account.

They want a reliable car. A smaller payment. A way to handle an unexpected expense. A little more room between payday and the bills.

We begin by listening. Then we help you understand your options and look for the solution that makes the most sense for your life.

Sometimes that means helping you borrow. Sometimes it means finding a less expensive way to manage debt. Sometimes it simply means giving you a clearer answer about what to do next.

Less stress. More clarity.

Money is complicated enough. Getting help shouldn’t make it harder.

When you come to Alcon Employees FCU, you should expect us to:

  • Listen before recommending

  • Explain things in everyday language

  • Look beyond a single number

  • Help you understand the cost before you decide

  • Tell you what happens next

  • Look for progress that matters in your life

  • Recommend what can actually help—not simply what we can sell

You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what you need. That’s what we’re here to help you figure out.

Built by Alcon employees. Still here for the Alcon community.

In 1972, a group of Alcon employees brought their money together to create a credit union of their own.

The idea was simple: people could help one another save, borrow and build stronger financial lives.

A lot has changed since then. We now offer more ways to save, borrow and manage money. But the reason we exist hasn’t changed.

We’re still here to help Alcon employees and their families move forward.

Who can become a member?

Membership is open to:

  • Alcon employees

  • Alcon contractors

  • Alcon retirees

  • Immediate family members

Membership isn’t only access to financial services. It means becoming part of a credit union created specifically for the Alcon community.

What member-owned means.

Alcon Employees FCU is a credit union, not a bank. Our members are the reason we exist.

That keeps our focus where it belongs: helping the people we serve make progress, understand their choices and experience less financial stress.

We aren’t trying to fit every member into the same box. We’re here to see the person, understand the need and help find the right next step.

Our mission

To build financial strength for Alcon employees and their families through trust, service and community.

Our vision

For all Alcon employees and their families to achieve lifelong financial well-being.

Let’s look at what’s possible.

You don’t have to have perfect credit, know the right financial words or arrive with the answer.

Tell us what’s going on. We’ll listen, look at the whole picture and help you understand your next step.
